#CC14: Countdown to Christmas 2014

As we edge ever nearer to the season of joy, I feel compelled to resurrect my Countdown to Christmas feature that was the most popular part of the Alan W Collins/Birmingham and Beyond blog during December.

The last Countdown appeared on Birmingham and Beyond in 2011. It was absent in 2012 (well, it is always difficult to find the Christmas spirit when in a harsh cycle of depression) and 2013 (during my hiatus from blogging), but I am determined to bring it back with style for this year’s festive season.

This year, in fact, will be more authentically “me”. During the twelve days to Christmas countdown, I will showcase not only my favourite Christmas-themed YouTube finds, but each will also represent my own personality.

And, as always, to get you in the mood, here’s an extra offering. Less than two months after my return from the same venue, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf turn the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom into a winter wonder, with help from the Imagineers’ ever-spectacular castle lighting show.
