Individual opinions better than spin

It is important to remember that, despite how people may spin comments, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Just because they are an elected representative of a political party does not mean they are speaking on behalf of their party.

It annoys me that so many comments made by individuals are now attached to their party as well to make a cheap political point.

Whatever happened to freedom of speech and individual opinion?
